May 2, 2023 – Spring is here

Spring is finally here!  After a dark, wet and chilly start to the spring season in Vancouver, things are starting to warm up. 

In this post you will see some sleepy Canada Geese.  The beautiful, quick and hard to photograph in flight – Anna’s Hummingbirds.   The yellow and white fellow is a Ruby-crowned kinglet, you can barely make out the red stripe crown in one of the photos.   And lastly, the colourful male wood duck – they make the cutest quacks!
